略论“子游氏之儒”

On the "School of Confucianism Founded by Ziyou"

子游是孔门七十二贤、孔门"十哲"之一,孔子弟子中唯一的南方人,被尊为"道启东南"的"南方夫子"、"东南学道之宗"。但长期以来学界对"子游氏之儒"及其开创者言子研究寥寥,至今知之甚少。本文就言偃"子游氏之儒"的基本思想、荀况为何竭力贬斥"子游氏之儒"、"子游氏之儒"的影响及历史地位这三个问题进行了探讨。

As Confucius＇ only student from southern China,Ziyou was not only among the 72 Excellent Students but also one of the Ten Wits trained by Confucius. Actually,he was once highly respected not only as the ＂Southern Confucius＂ whose philosophy ＂informed the southeastern intellectuals＂ but also as the ＂founder of the southeastern school of Confucianism＂. As researches into the ＂School of Confucianism Founded by Ziyou＂ as well as the founder Yan Zi have been extremely rare,they are not known at all. The paper is an exploration into such matters as the fundamental thoughts of YanYan on the ＂School of Confucianism Founded by Ziyou ＂,the reason why Xun Kuang denounced the ＂School of Confucianism Founded by Ziyou ＂ without reservations and the historical influences and significances of the ＂School of Confucianism Founded by Ziyou ＂.
