摘要
介绍了主要的视频压缩标准,比较了JPEG2000视频图像压缩标准相对于其它标准的优缺点,并对JPEG2000的编码技术做了介绍.提出了将JPEG2000用于视频压缩处理,给出了嵌入式系统的软硬件设计.实验结果表明,在压缩比为41时,压缩后的图像质量令人满意.通过结合抽帧和插帧,系统可用于高质量图像监控等场合.
This paper briefly introduces the main video compression standards,then compares the advantages and disadvantages of JPEG2000 with that of other standards.The coding techniques used in JPEG2000 are also presented.The paper proposes that JPEG2000 applied in video compression,and gives a hardware and software design of embedded system.Test result shows that the quality of an image recovered from compressed video is satisfactory when compression ratio is 41.Combining decimating and inserting frames,this systemcan be used in high quality image surveillance, and soon.
