认知语言学认为,意象图式对揭示语言运作本质有重要意义。词汇的延伸多来源于意象图式及变体,意象图式为由抽象到具体的隐喻映射提供了依据和途径。文章以意象图式为支点,从意象图式的形成基础、结构组成及特点出发,对"就"的中心图式和图式变体及"就"的隐喻表达和意象图式之间的联系进行分析,探讨"就"的空间意义和空间概念隐喻,分析副词"就"意象图式及其变体在其词义延伸中的作用。

According to the theory of Cognitive linguistics,image schema is significant in analyzing the essential characteristic of the language operation. The vocabulary extension origins from the image schema and its allomorph, which provides basis and path for the metaphorical projection from abstract to concrete. Firstly, by the image schema pivot, beginning with the analysis of the forming foundation and structural composition and structural characteristic of the image schema,the thesis analyzes the center image schema and its allomorph, and analyzes the lingkages between the metaphorical expressions and the image schema of adverb ＂jiu＂. Secondly, the thesis analyzes the spacial meaning and spacial metaphors of time of the adverb ＂jiu＂. Thirdly, the thesis analyzes the function of the image schema and its allomorph of adverb ＂jiu＂ in its semantic extension.
