对于20世纪中国小说家来说,"《红楼梦》情结"已无可避免地成为了进行创作时普遍摆脱不掉的"梦魇",《红楼梦》对巴金与张爱玲家族小说创作影响甚是深远,巴金和张爱玲同是封建大家庭的逃离者、叛逆者、书写者,两人的身世阅历、审美情趣和价值取向不同,创作个性也不同,因而对《红楼梦》的取法又呈不同侧面。

For novelists of China in 1900s, the love knot for ＂A Dream of Red Mansions＂ had unavoidably become a part of their writing. It had profound effects on family novel writing of Bajin and zhang Ailing. Both of them wrote, rebelled and broke with their large feudalistic family, but they had different life experience, esthetic sentiment, value orientation and writing style, so they learned from＂A Dream of Red Mansions＂from different angle.
