摘要
由我院数值预报研究中心开发完成的“我国新一代多尺度气象数值预报系统”获得2007年国家科技进步二等奖。“我国新一代多尺度气象数值预报系统”是国家十五科技攻关重点项目成果，也是我国在气象科技与计算机应用领域取得的重大科技成就。该项目自主开发了具有持续创新能力的完整气象数值预报体系，实现了我国数值预报技术整体跨越的目标。
The Next Generation Multi-Scale NWP System of China developed by the Center for Numerical Prediction Research, CAMS gained the second National Award for Science and Technology Progress in 2007. It is a major achievement of the National Key Science and Technology Project and a significant accomplishment in the field of meteorological science and technology and computer application technology to meteorological service. Aiming at the overall leap of numerical weather prediction technology, the project developed independently the completed numerical meteorological prediction system with sustained creative ability.
