Dialectical Unity between Pragmatic Translation of English Poems and Aesthetic Ideas

诗歌翻译除了要传递原译的信息,还要让读者领略到语言的美感。因此,原诗的语用信息效果和美学效果应受到同等程度的重视。语用翻译与美学理念相互依存、相互作用,在翻译实践中必须将两者有机地结合起来,才能使诗歌翻译的标准真正得到落实。

Based on the translation standards of poems,this paper illustrates how to deal with the dialectical unity between pragmatic translation of English poems and aesthetic ideas.It argues that pragmatic effects should be paid as much attention as aesthetic effects.Pragmatic translation and aesthetic ideas are interrelated and interact on each other.As long as both are organically combined,translation standards of poems can be truly secured.
