Decoding the Asia-Pacific Security Strategy of the Clinton Administration

二战后,美国在全球战略框架内形成了亚太安全战略。随着苏联的解体和冷战在全球层面的结束,亚太地区的战略格局和安全环境发生了重大变化,这意味着美国必须重新评估亚太地区的安全形势,并据此制定新的亚太安全战略。本文主要论述在克林顿政府时期美国亚太安全政策的变化,分析影响其变化的因素,并对此进行简要的评价。

After World WarⅡ,America took Asia-Pacific Security Strategy in Global Strategic frame.Along with the disjoint of Soviet Union and the end of Cold War in global scope,great changes took place in the strategic structure and security environment of Asia-Pacific region,So America had to evaluate Security condition of Asia-Pacific region again,and made new Security Strategy of Asia-Pacific region according to the evaluating result.This lecture mainly dissertates the changes of American Asia--Pacific Security policy in Clinton Administration, and analyzes the factors of affecting the changes, and briefly comment it.
