The Neo-tectonic motion around Halamaodu of Qian'guo County,Jilin Province

本文描述了哈拉毛都松花江两岸的地质地貌景观。松花江北岸直型谷坡,坡陡,高差近100 m,绵延数十公里,是典型的断层崖;南岸破碎的地形、阶梯状谷坡、冲沟、冲沟中的丹霞地形正在发生发展的地裂缝、断层和滑坡,这一切与松花江南岸不断隆起和松花江断裂继承性新构造运动有直接联系。

Before 1119 years, the strongest shock in northeast earthquake area had happened around Halamaodu of Qian＇guo County. Its magnitude was 6.8. It was record by Annals of Great Jin State that thousands of people died in the earthquake. Since 2003, small earthquakes were unceasing in Songyuan area in northern of Halamaodu, the biggest magnitude was 3.5. Then, how are this area in geology and landforms now？ In the article the landscape of geology and landform of two banks of Songhua river in Halamaodu was described. In the north bank, valley scope is vertical, scope is steep, difference of altitude is near 100m, extending tens km, it is a typical fault cliff. In the south bank, broken topography, slope and gulch in shape of flight of stairs, Danxia topography in gulch, happening and developing earth crack, fault and landslip, all those have direct relation with unceasing raise of south bank of Songhua river and inherit rico-tectonic motion of Songhua river fault.
