摘要
地质英语作为专门用途英语的一种,大量词汇受到了词义不统一的影响,形成了自己独特的词汇特征。本文在研究地质专业词汇的词源、定义、沿革的基础上,总结出地质英语的词汇特点,以促进地质英语的学习,进而实现地质领域内准确、顺畅的英语交流。
As the part of ESE the meanings of geologic English words are inconsistence, and they form their own distinctive lexicon features. In order to advance learning of geologic English and realize fluent English communication in the field of geology, the thesis concludes the lexicon features of geologic English through studying the derivation,definition and evolution of geologic English words.
