On the Multi-cultural Value of Tibetan & Yi Corridor

位于横断山脉的藏彝走廊是现存的最为完整的古老文化保留地,是在长达数千年的发展过程中形成的有别于黄河大统一文明的独特文明样式。其多元文化整合过程具有重大的多元文化整合价值和现代社会发展价值,不仅全面揭示了多元文化整合的基本准则、要素及最终目标,对现代社会发展中的民族关系处理等方面亦有所助益。

The Tibetan ＆ Yi corridor which is situated in the Hengduan Mountains is the best kept cultural relic. It has gone through several thousands of years＇ evolution and is distinguished from the unification civilization of Yellow River areas. The integration process of this cultural mode has its own value in both multi-culture and social development. It reveals the basic norms, elements and ultimate goal of the multi-cultural integration. Further, it can be used as reference for dealing with the re- lationships between nationalities in development.
