我国社会心理学学科性质探讨的回顾

A Review of Discussions in Chinese Textbooks to the Discipline Nature of Social Psychology

从社会心理学诞生以来,其学科性质的问题就一直困扰着社会心理学家们,迄今仍众说纷纭。故试以中国大陆1924~2008年间出版发行的56个版本的社会心理学教材为主要研究取样,回顾中国学者对于该学科性质的诠释,探讨中国学者持有的观点概貌,以资鉴照中国社会心理学前行之路向。统计归纳发现：①我国教材多半持＂独科论＂的观点,即社会心理学是一门独立的学科;②心理学分支论明显压倒社会学分支论;③对于社会心理学除了具有社会科学性质之外是否还具有自然科学的性质,有待进一步深化认识;④对于社会心理学是基础学科还是应用学科认识仍然混乱。

Social psychologists have been obsessed by the discipline nature of social psychology since the birth of social psychology, and it has not come to an agreement up till today. Therefore, the authors sampled a total of 56 textbooks in social psychology which were published in China's Mainland from 1924 to 2008, in order to review the standpoints of the Chinese schol- ars on the discipline nature of social psychology, thereby illuminating the developing direction of social psychology in China. Through statistical analysis of these textbooks the authors came to the conclusions that： 1） More than half of the Chinese textbooks treat social psychology as an independent discipline. 2） The scholars who agree with the social psychology is a branch of psychology is overwhelmingly more than those who believe it is a branch of sociology. 3） The idea that social psychology has not only the characteristics of social sciences, but also has the characteristics of natural sciences, needs to be highlighted. 4） The answers to whether social psychology is a basic subject or an applied subject are still in chaos.
