Numerical Analysis on the Maximum Contact Pressure of Rubber O-ring

以O形圈为研究对象,利用有限元模拟软件ANSYS对O形圈的材料特性以及预紧时的压缩率进行了模拟研究,得出了不同材质O形圈在不同压缩率下的最大初始接触压力和其分布规律。并且通过对数据的处理得到了一般情况下求解初始最大接触压力的数学表达式。

The numerical simulation of O-ring was conducted with finite element software ANSYS to study the relation- ship between the material properties and pre-compression rate. The maximum initial contact pressure and its distribution were got for different materials O-ring under compression ratio. Through data processing, a mathematical expression was fit- ted, which can solve the maximum initial contact pressure of the O-ring under normal condition.
