摘要
对以Ce3+/Ce4+为正极,Zn/Zn2+为负极组装氧化还原电池进行了初步研究。发现以Co-PTh-C复合电极作电极材料的循环次数达到12次,石墨毡电极循环次数仅2次。为此以不同电极材料,对Ce3+/Ce4+的电化学行为进行了研究。研究结果表明,在同一电极电位下,以Co-PTh-C复合电极作电极材料的电流密度要比石墨毡电极大,Ce3+/Ce4+还原反应为CE型准可逆反应。
A redox battery with Ce^3+/Ce^4+ as positive electrolyte and Zn/Zn^2+ as negative electrolyte was investigated. It was found that the cycle index of Co-PTh-C composite electrode at using an electrode' s material were 12,and the cycle index of graphite felt were only 2. So,the kinetics for Ce^4+/Ce^3+ couple was studied using different electrode' s material. The result showed that the current density of Co-PTh-C composite electrode at using an electrode' s material is bigger than graphite felt; and the redox reaction of the Ce^3+/Ce^4+ couple is a CE type quasi-reversible reaction.
