He has made a commonsense mistake here, that is, he demonized politics and equated autonomy of the lit- erature history to a non-political issue. It must be known that not all politics is filthy. Take the political behavior of opposing Taiwan Independence for example. Any person who is patriotic should support it. One of the important reasons why Gao Zhun turns from advocating reunification to sneering at others＇ fighting against the Taiwan Independence has something to do with the fact that while Chen Shuibian suppressed those who are for the reunification of China he also demonized China.
