The paper introduces the Light Well Point Drainage Method that applied in Phase I pump project in the groundwater level rising zone in Algeria Suf.In this method,the foundation pit should be completed until the groundwater level has drawn down to the bottom of the pit and the slope has been stable and the sand layer been dense enough.The calculation and operation method of light well point drainage are introduced in details in the paper.
