大学教师是一个集学者、师者和知识分子于一体的社会角色,他们也因此具有了不同于其他社会阶层的精神向度,即学术精神、人文精神和公共精神。大学教师的生命价值在于他是一种学术精神、人文精神和公共精神的担当者和体现者。教育的过程实质上就是这三种精神之间不断交流、不断对话和不断融合的过程,在这个过程中,大学教师是联接三者之间关系的纽带和桥梁。

In profound possession of wide range of knowledge, the fusion of education and scientific research determines that uni- versity teachers are social role incorporating tutor, scholar and intellectual. Their life value is embodied by bearer of academic spirit, humane spirit and public spirit. Teaching course in essence is the three spirits dialogue ,exchange and melting process.
