Combined with practical experience in Sulige desert station construction,how to calculate earth volume with laser range finder and horizontal angle measure instrument was discussed.The practice indicated that the measured method can satisfy sand dune earth volume variation measuring requirement of building station in desert,which was worthy to be popularized.
