Evolution and Transformation of Enlightening Discourse in Chinese Literature Since the Beginning of the New Century

启蒙话语作为20世纪中国文学的一个统摄性文化主题和中国知识分子精英的独特身份符号,在世纪末的文化转型中陷入一种极为尴尬的境地,通过总结和反思20世纪启蒙话语体系自身的本体意识,探寻启蒙主题在中国的历史更迭,以此透视世纪之交转型期的文化语境,探讨启蒙传统的未终结性,新启蒙的转型背景、启蒙本体论的嬗变,以及启蒙策略转型,尤其是启蒙者身份的隐匿和启蒙对象的扩张,才能彰显这一文学传统和文化思潮的未来走向和当代意义。

As a dominant cultural theme of Chinese literature and a unique status symbol of Chinese intellectual elite during the last century, the enlightening discourse has dropped into an extremely embarrassment due to the cultural transformation at the end of last century. Summing up and reflecting the idea about identity of the enlightening discourse, the historical change in the theme for enlightenment in China is explored to view clearly the cultural context of the transcentury transformation, as well as the endless enlightenment tradition, transformation background of new enlightenment, evolution of ontological transformation, transformation strategy of enlightenment especially the hiding of the enlighteners＇ status and the expansion done by the enlighteness. In this way the contemporary and future significance of the literary tradition and cultural trends can be highlit.
