关于高等教育结构的研究基本可分为定性研究和定量研究两种研究取向。其中定性研究采用了历史学、比较研究、社会学、经济学、生态学等多种研究方法;而定量研究则包括调查方法、基于统计学的量化方法、系统技术与方法等。在分析多样研究方法自身特色的同时,为后续研究提供参考与借鉴。。

Research on higher education structure can be basically divided into two research orientation： qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative research involves methods of history, comparative studies, sociology, economics, and ecology while quantitative research refers to investigation, statistics-based quantitative methods, system technology and methods. This paper aims to explore diversified approaches for subsequent researches.
