Business English learning and training is one of the most popular mainstreams in china today. The article aims to discuss and analyze the characters of adult business English learners and how to use effective methods to improve business English teaching, and then in order to improve the students＇ communication competence especially in business environment. Business English teaching methods plays a crucially important role in helping students not only mater business English as a second language system but also acquire communication competence in English. The au- thor demonstrates some suitable ways for business English teaching by explaining classroom communicative activities, student＇s and teachers＇roles, and teachers＇evaluation in the class.
