This article makes a comparative study of the Zichang dialect and Putonghua from the initial consonant, the vowels of syllables and the tone of characters. Thus it finds out the pronunciation law of each language and brings up important and difficult points for Zichang people to pay attention to when they learn Putonghua, as more people understand the Zichang dialect.
