This paper is about the interface between MCU c8051f231 and CCD signal processor AD9844A. The AD9844A is a complete analog signal processor for CCD applications. It features a 20 MHZ single-channel architecture and 12-bit A/D converter. The purpose of this paper is to present the programmable features of the AD9844A and its soft SPI interface with the MCU through a 3-wire serial port.
