氦原子符合研究中的辐射自吸收影响

摘要 本工作用电子-光子符合技术测量了氦原子的n=3的单态、三重态P和D的寿命与气流密度的关系。得出:1)在作用区内,得到了共振幅射俘获或辐射自吸收的影响的明确结论;2)散射参数受气漉压强的影响;3)散射参数x和寿命与压强的关系可延伸到零压情况。 In this papcr the measurements have been made of the helium n=3 singlet and triplet P and D state lifetimcs as a function of atomic beam density using the electron photon coincidence technique. The lifetime measurcmcnts yield clear information on the influence of resonance tadiation tapping or radiation self absorption within the interaction volume, indicate that the scattering parameters are expected to be affected by the variation in the eiperimental atomic beam geometuy and density, and reveal that the pressure dependence of X and lifetimes extends to zero atomic beam density.
