产品数据管理（ProductDataManagement，PDM）是现代产品开发环境中发展起来的一项管理数据的新技术，它以数据库和网络技术为支撑，为并行工程技术提供快捷、可靠、集成的信息资源环境。并分析了PDM技术的发展背景，并对其主模型体系结构及相关模块的建立做了探讨。

PDM(Product Data Management)is one of the developing technologies according to the study of modern product， which can manage the dates effciently．In order to provide a rapid， reliable and inteqrated environment of information for Concurrent Engineering，PDM is fasecl on the knowledge of database and netwok． In this paper， the authors analyse the background of its development，at the same time the main construct of system and some models of PDM are founded．
