The Dunhuang Version of Hanjiangwanglingbian is a classic among Dunhuang vernacular culture study. Its characterization is vivid and impressive. The present article analyzes the four characters of LIU Bang, WANG Ling, WANG Ling＇s mother and XIANG Yu, as interprets the result of Chu＇s ending and Han＇s rising caused by LIU Bang and XIANG Yu＇s actions.
