In the culture of classical Chinese poetry, ＂beauty＂ is regarded as an aesthetic image with specif- ic connotations. The feudal literati set up a subtle relationship with ＂beauty＂ image, in which the wheel of for- tune draws these two relationships closer and makes the literati have a strong identity to the female writers. Such feeling has been precipitated as a part of cultural memory, which forms a distinctive ethnic characteristic of literary tradition.
