汉末名士蔡邕家世及生平考述

A TEXTUAL RESEARCH ON FAMILY BACKGROUND AND LIFE STORY OF CAI YONG

以细致深入的文本阅读为基础,结合详尽的背景史料分析,考察汉末名士蔡邕的家世及生平。蔡邕的一生,大约与汉末顺、桓、灵三朝相始末,正值东汉王朝从衰败走向覆灭的时期。作为汉代乃至中国历史上少有的通才式人物,他才华横溢、学识渊博,在书法、绘画、音律、碑诔、辞章、史志乃至天文律历、阴阳谶纬术数等各个领域都取得了当时的最高成就,且流风所及,影响深远。结合东汉末年的社会政治状况分析了蔡邕生不逢时的原因,并从5个阶段来评述他一生的经历及境遇。

Based on a close research on historical literatures,this paper studies the family background and life story of Cai Yong,an accomplished scholar in East Han Dynasty.Cai Yong's life happened to be at the turning point of the East Han Dynasty from a downfall to complete collapse.A versatile scholar rarely found in Chinese history,Cai was highly accomplished and had profound and far reaching influences.The author,probing into the social and political reasons for his frustrating life experience,concludes that Cai's life falls into the following 5 stages:adolescence well known for his talents,retirement in the countryside,official career in the middle age,fugitive life in the southeast of China,surrender to Dong Zhuo's force and death in jail.
