摘要
本文提出了一种简单、有效的连接允许控制方法,该方法是采用IBP业务模型和ATM节点的虚路径缓冲器和容量参数,通过在线计算信元丢失概率的上限来实现的。由于IBP模型中的信元到达时间间隔的分布具有解析特性,使得基于IBP模型的信元丢失概率的上限计算问题得到简化,增强了允许控制的实时性。
This paper presents a simple and effective connection admission control scheme. It is implemented by online calculating of the upper bounds of cell loss probability based on the IBP traffic source model and the parameters of the buffer and capacity of a virtual path in ATM node. Due to the analytic characteristic of the cell arrival interval in IBP model, it makes the calculation of the upper bounds of cell loss probability simple and improves the realtime characteristic of connection admission control.
