Details introduction is done to the hyperboloid cylinder clothing regarding the specification, manufacturing process, and the performance. With referrence to the special tooth design of the hyperboloid clothing, trial application is done to the fine cotton fiber and cotton blended chemical fiber with comprehensive probing into the carding and spinning effect. Conclusion is made that application of the hyperboloid cylinder clothing can markedly reduce trash and improve the short fiber content with high definition of cotton mesh and good fiber straightness,thus upgrading single fiber strength and eveness of the resultant yarn.
