Research on the Characteristics of Hongdumeng School

鸿都门学是中国教育史上第一所艺术学校,其推动了汉末传统文化教育风向的转变,是秦汉以降选官制度的一次重大转变和革新。创建鸿都门学的主旨不过是为了挽王朝于将倾,但事实上却为中国传统文化教育开创了一条新的道路,并不自觉地成为一种社会的变革工具。鸿都门学与众不同的特质与学术特色是中国传统学术文化中的奇葩。

Hongdumeng School was the first art school in Chinese educational history, which promoted the change of traditional culture and education inclination in the late of Han dynasty and was the significant milestone in official selection of government from the Qin and Han dynasties. Although its main purpose was to save dynasty from being overturned, it created a new path for the traditional Chinese culture and education. Meanwhile, it became a tool for social change. Hongdumeng School, as its unique characteristics and academic characteristics, was the wonderful work in the history of traditional Chinese culture and education.
