X-连锁凋亡抑制蛋白是近年来发现的一种具有细胞凋亡抑制作用的蛋白。XIAP通过杆状病毒重复序列与caspase结合，抑制caspase活性，进而抑制肿瘤细胞的凋亡。应用XIAP的小分子抑制剂以及针对它的RNAi，反义核苷酸技术可以减少甚至阻止XIAP的表达，减少肿瘤细胞的凋亡抵抗，因此可以把XIAP作为抗肿瘤治疗的一个靶点。

XIAP through the baculovirus IAP repeat（BIR） binding caspase and inhibiting it＇s activity, thereby inhibiting tumor cell apoptosis. Application small - molecule inhibitors of XIAP,as well as its RNAi,antisense oligonucleotide technology can reduce or even prevent the expression of XIAP,reducing tumor cell apoptosis resistance,which can put XIAP as a target for anti -tumor therapy.
