摘要
由于多种原因,农村中学的英语教学状况始终不容乐观,教学中存在诸多问题,如学生的听、说、读、写"四会"能力差、学生两极分化严重、课堂教学气氛不活跃、教学设施落后等,教学质量一直处于低谷状态,与城市教育的差距有呈扩大的趋势。作为农村一线教师,应积极探讨其原因,寻求改进教学的策略。
Owing to many causes, the status quo of the English teaching in rural middle schools is not optimistic. Many problems exist in the English teaching, such as students'poor ability in reading, listening, speaking and writing, inactive classroom atmosphere, back- ward teaching facilities, etc. This paper explores the causes and seeks the strategies of improving English teaching.
