The hardware design of TLD reader is introduced, including the central control unit, temperature control unit, human computer interaction unit and data storage unit. The TLD-reader based on C8051F020 processor has less peripheral chips, lower cost and higher speed. It is reliable and stable because of the integration of the hardware system.
