Non-Equilibrium Structure of East Asian Integration and Economic Development Strategy of Guangdong

在贸易和投资的带动下,东亚形成了区域生产网络,但网络内部存在各经济体对日本技术依赖和对美国市场依赖的结构性缺陷,在世界经济衰退中加剧了东亚各经济体结构调整的困难和危机传染的风险。广东地处我国与东亚板块的结合带,最为直接而敏感地深受其影响,故应从宏观上与东盟进行纵深合作、中观上深化粤港澳合作和微观上对中小企业进行分类指导,力求既能克服网络结构性缺陷对自身经济的负面影响,同时又有可能对其进行逐步的纠正,达到合作共赢。

Driven by trade and investment, the regional production network has formed in East Asia, with two con- structional defects, that is the technological reliance to Japan and market reliance to America. The world economic decline enhances the difficulties of adjusting construction of East Asian economy and the risk of crisis contagion. Guangdong lies in the hinge area of China linking with East Asia, so it is more vulnerable to be affected. There- fore, with the aim of overcoming the negative effect of constructional defects in its economy as well as improving the network step by step, then gaining win-win cooperation, Guangdong should cooperate with ASEAN on macro-level, strengthen the cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao on meso-level, and guide the small and medi- um enterprises systematically on micro-level.
