In case of diputes on forest ownership during the forest property right system reform in Xinfeng County,the main causes of disputes on forest ownership in Jiangxi Province were analyzed.Principles that should be followed in mediating the disputes on forest ownership and some countermeasures of resolving the disputes were put forward in order to consolidate the results of forest property right system reform,reduce internal friction in forestry production and provided scientific basises for promoting ： economic development of forestry.
