美国十分重视母语的教学。其母语教学有着密切联系生活实际,追求语文教育的生活化和人本性、阅读与写作结合形式丰富多样、强调学生自己努力获得知识和能力、重视文学鉴赏教育、注重批判性阅读思维训练等特点,对我国的语文教学有着启示作用。

The United States attaches great importance to the teaching of mother tongue. Their mother-tongue teaching is closely related to practical life, pursuing the life reality and human nature, reading and writing combined with rich and varied forms, emphasizing the efforts of students themselves to gain knowledge and ability, paying attention to the education of literary appreciation, emphases on critical thinking training features as reading. All these have the some certain enlightening role in our Chinese teaching.
