《珍妮姑娘》是20世纪美国最杰出的现实主义作家西奥多.德莱塞的代表作,曾被评论家誉为美国最优秀的小说之一。文章试图以弗洛伊德精神分析理论为视角,通过对珍妮人格结构、自我防御机制的分析,阐述主人公的悲剧并非完全是外界环境所致,其根本原因在于珍妮的个人选择。
