Discussion on the Relationship Between Folk Worship of Xu Zhenjun and the Culture

许真君是净明道教的创始人,以治水而有功于江西,成为江西人心目中的保护神。许真君民间崇拜信仰是古代江西地区一种较为突出的历史民俗现象,其表现特点为民众对许真君这个真实历史人物的传说神异化和崇拜民俗化,主要原因除了许真君的崇高人品和伟大功绩外,还与许真君崇拜对社会生产和民众生活具有重要影响有关,在社会各个领域或多或少的留下了一些痕迹,本文主要研究许真君崇拜对社会文化的影响。

Xu Zhenjun was the founder of Jinming Taoism, and became the protection god of Jiangxi people for controlling flood successfully. The folk worship of Xu Zhenjun was an outstanding phenomenon of folk-custom in ancient history of Jiangxi province. The feature is the alienation of people＇s legend of god and folk-orientation of worship of Xu Zhenjun, who was a true historical figure. In addition to Xu Zhenjun＇s noble character and great achievements, the main reason is the important affect on the social production and people＇s livelihood. There still remain more or less traces in all areas of the society. This article is to study the effect of the worship of Xu Zhenjunon the the social culture .
