摘要
在新文化运动中,以《新青年》派为代表的知识分子发动了戏剧改良运动,对中国古典戏曲和文明戏进行批判和否定,呼唤着中国现代戏剧的诞生。民众戏剧社在戏剧改良理论的基础上,具体地探讨了创建中国现代话剧的剧本、舞台艺术和剧团体制方面的问题,主张学习西方的小剧场运动开展创建中国现代戏剧的演剧实践,并由此引发了爱美剧运动。在爱美剧运动中,只有上海戏剧协社实现了创建中国现代话剧的理论主张,使话剧开始立足于中国舞台。
In the New Culture Movement, intellectuals, taking the "New youth" school as representative, started a drama reform movement. They carried on critique and denial to Chinese classical dramas and civilization dramas, calling for the birth of Chinese modem dramas. Based on the reform theory of drama, the populace theatre society specifically discussed the scripts of Chinese modem dramas, the stagecraft and the theatrical troupe system and other problem. They advocated the Western litde theater movement in order to found Chinese movement. In the course of the amateur theater movement, only the Sh modem theater, and initiated an amateur theater anghai Stage Society realized the theoretical pro- posal of founding Chinese modem dramas and made drama have a foothold on the Chinese stage.
