The Inflence and Status of Huangmei Zen Culture in Buddhism History

通过对道信、弘忍禅学在黄梅的改革、发展及其特点的分析可知中国佛教禅宗在道信时期已具雏形,在弘忍时已经形成。道信、弘忍在中国佛教史上是两位极具建设性的重要人物,他们顺应时代发展,对印度佛教进行改革创新,为印度佛教中国化、大众化作出了历史贡献。

By analyzing the reform,development and characters of Daoxin and Hongren Zen Buddhism,the author thought that the Chinese Buddhism Zen had its prototype in Daoxin period,and formed in Hongren times.Daoxin and Hongren were two important characters in Chinese Buddhism history,which followed the development of the times,reformed and innovated the India Buddhism and had made great contribution to the Chinization and popularization of the India Buddhism.
