A Method for Testing Short Message Filtering Systems

This paper proposes a test method and system for a filtering system of short message. Firstly, this test system produces some testing data of short message which include filter information, and then sends them to the filtering system of short message. Secondly, the filtering system of short message gives filter results to this test system. Thirdly, after a comparison between the filter results and the testing data of short message, this test system outputs the final test results. By simulating the Short Message Service Center, this test system directly communicates with the filtering system of short message, so it can complete the protocol conformance testing, the performance testing, and a variety of filtering rules testing. Theoretical analysis and experimental results indicate, this test system is not only easy to operate, but also has advantages of high accuracy and favorable efficacy.
