摘要
很多大学生花费了大量的时间和精力用在英语阅读上,但学习效果却依然不理想,最根本的原因是学生没有掌握有效的英语学习策略。为了全面了解学生对阅读策略的使用与学习成效的关系,参照使用有声思维法得到的阅读理解策略,采用问卷调查的方法对辽宁对外经贸学院148名学生进行了全局策略和局部策略训练实验。结果表明,阅读策略可以提高学生的阅读理解能力,全局策略相比局部策略效果具有显著性,有目的地进行阅读方面的策略训练,有助于学生阅读理解水平的提高,阅读策略训练应当成为外语教学课程的一部分。
A lot of students of higher vocational training schools have spent too much time and energy on reading comprehension, but the result is not that gratiying. The basic reason is that the students fail to grasp effective learning strategies. In order to know the relationship between the reading strategies employed by the students and their academic achievements, an investigation of the type of questions and answers, on the basis of Thinking Loud Theory, was made into both the general and local strategies employed by the students of the college. The result not only shows that reading strategies can effectively improve the students" ability of reading comprehension, but also implies that the general strategies are more significant. Training the students distinctly in reading is helpful to the students' progress in reading comprehension. Reading strategy training is a part of college English teaching.
