A Critical Appraisal On China's Contemporary University's Value Ideology via Spirits of Ancient Academy

我国古代的书院精神以其人道主义的价值仪轨、人文精神的自然和谐、兼容并蓄的开放多元、学术创新的自由独立等等特征成为中国古代大学精神的核心。而千百年来,书院精神亘古延绵,对中国古代、近代大学的建制与改革形成了重要影响,并在新的时代风潮中被纳入21世纪人文文化体系以其精神宏旨实现中国现代大学价值理想的重塑。

Spirits of China＇ s ancient academy represented features of humanitarianism value, natural harmony of humanistic spirit, opening and multilateral nature coexistence, liberal independence of academic innovation, which turned out the spiritual core of ancient China＇ s university. Yet, within the thousands and hundreds of years, academic spirits lasted eternally and exerted significant impact on China＇ s ancient and modem university＇ s establishment and reform, that appealed into 21 th century＇s humanistic cultural system with its spiritual intention to realize reshaping Chinese contemporary university＇s ideological and value.
