摘要
千年古镇——余西,南濒长江,因盐而生、因水而存,是南通地区历史上的盐业重镇之一。文章从古镇的发展演变、选址布局、建筑类型和装饰艺术等方面,介绍了余西古镇的特点,分析了余西古镇作为盐业集镇的独特之处,归纳了古镇的建筑特色,并针对其现状阐述了保护措施。
YuXi town which has a history of more than 1000 years lies to the north of the Yangtze River, originated from the salt production and the water transportation, and is one of the most important historical salt producing towns in Nantong. This paper introduces the characteristics of the YuXi town from the aspects of historical development and evolution, layout, building styles and decoration, etc. analyzes the peculiarity ofYuXi town and then puts forward the particular protection measures that could be taken.
