摘要
本文在接受美学视域下,阐述了语言艺术化的两个维度:语言"空白"和语言"陌生化",解析了它们在翻译中的意义。认为两个维度都能产生召唤性,让读者参与审美过程。通过翻译过程对语言"空白"的分析发现,译语文本会不可避免地对原文"空白"处进行填充,但我们仍须努力避免这种现象。而语言"陌生化"意识要贯穿在具有艺术向度的语言翻译之中,是因为并不是任何语言的陌生化,即采取"异化"能产生召唤性。
Based on the fact that the reception aesthetics theory insists on the reader’s involvement in determining the text meaning, the paper takes indeterminacies and defamiliarization as two dimensions of language art device because of their appellative power on readers’ participation. The paper analyses their connotation in translation, and holds that translators are most likely to make sure about the indeterminacies of the original text and reveal the determined meaning in the translated version, while translators should not defamiliarize all translated language by using alienation strategy freely because readers can gain new experience only from those language to which the author has an artistic turn of mind.
