Fuel pricing reform generates $33.4 bin in new tax income

摘要 China＇s changes to its fuel pricing system has generated RMB 228,1 billion （$33,4 billion） in tax income over the first II months of 2009, the Ministry of Finance （MoF） reported on Dec. 23. The Chinese government has used the additional income to fund road maintenance and subsidize energy prices for China＇s rural and poor populations, according to an MoF newsletter.
