摘要
目的探讨信号转导转录活化因子3(STAT3)蛋白在鼻-鼻窦鳞癌组织中的表达及意义。方法选取已确诊的40例鼻-鼻窦鳞癌组织石蜡标本为实验组,30例慢性鼻炎黏膜标本为对照组,采用免疫组化SP法检测STAT3蛋白在两组中的表达。结果STAT3蛋白在40例鼻-鼻窦鳞癌组织中32例呈阳性表达,阳性率为80.0%,与对照组相比差异有显著性(P<0.05);且STAT3蛋白的表达与性别、年龄无关(P>0.05),与鼻-鼻窦鳞癌的分化程度、临床分期有关(P<0.05)。结论STAT3蛋白的过度表达与鼻-鼻窦鳞癌的发生、发展有关,检测鼻-鼻窦鳞癌中STAT3蛋白的表达可以反映肿瘤的恶性程度。
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of STAT3(signal transducer and activator of transcription 3) in nasal-sinuses squamous carcinoma. Methods 40 pathologically confirmed paraffinaceous specimens of nasal-sinuses squamous carcinoma were subjected for immunohistochemical staining to determine the expression of STAT3 protein. 30 specimens of chronic inflammational mucosa were used as control. Results Out of 40 nasal-sinuses squamous carcinomas,32 were STAT3 positively stained. The positive expression rate was 80.0%. The higher level expression of STAT3 protein was detected more often in squamous carcinoma specimens than that in chronic inflammational mucosa. There was statistically significant difference between the two groups for the staining(P〈0.05) . The expression of STAT3 was not correlated with the age and gender,but positively correlated with pathological classification and clinical staging. Conclusion The overexpression of STAT3 protein was associated with development of nasal-sinuses squamous carcinoma. STAT3 protein expression level can be used for indicating the malignancy degree of nasal-sinuses squamous carcionma.
