摘要
蛇郎故事作为中国流传广泛、数量丰富的民间故事,其基本形式有蛇始祖型与蛇郎和两姐妹型两种。尽管这两种形式情节很不相同,却都是建立在尊崇蛇的文化心态之上,而这一心态源于古越人的蛇图腾崇拜,历经千年未能磨灭。蛇郎故事在流传的过程中也发生了一定的变异:一方面是,随着时代的发展,蛇郎故事在不同地区、不同民族流传的过程中渲染了不同的地方色彩。另外,蛇郎和两姐妹故事同现实人生之间存在着对应关系,可以运用过渡性仪式来进一步探讨该型故事的深层文化内涵。
Snake-boy stories are popular Chinese folktales. There are two versions:the ancestor of snake and snake-boy and two sisters. Though the two stories are various in plot, they both reflect snake worship totem in ancient Yue culture. The story evolutes along historical development:there are local elements added in the story ;there are corresponding relation between snake-boy and two sisters story and reality. The deep cultural connotation is discussed by analysis on transitional ritual.
