摘要
不规则物体的模拟一直是计算机图形学的研究热点和难点,而火焰在时间和空间上的多变性,更具有挑战性。本文详细讨论了火焰模型中火焰粒子属性的变化和纹理图片的选取。粒子系统是模拟不规则物体的有效方法,结合纹理映射增强绘制结果的真实感,可大大降低粒子数量,提高了绘制效率。实验表明,这种方法满足真实感和实时性的要求。
The simulation of irregular objects is the one of the most difficult and attractive problems in computer graphics. The simulation of fire is of a great challenge because of the variability of the shape of fire in time and space. This paper discusses the variation of the attributes of fire particles and the choice of texture slices in detail. Particle system is the most effective method for fire simulation, which uses a texture map technique to enhance the rendering quality, decrease the number of particles and accelerate the rendering affectivity. Examples show that the method meets the requirements of real-time- ness and reality.
