The article clearly states the advantages of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system verses mechanical injection system, and details the principaI work of EFI system on engine model 12V280ZJ. It also introduces the optimized control system using EFI, and how it enhances engine performance in the test cell. Through several examples, this article shows the detailed procedure of engine trouble shooting and debugging. Utilizing the Electronic Control Module (ECM) system, the author developed a section on the diagnostic system for protecting the turbo by monitoring parameters of the lube oil system.
